The management of Nestle Nigeria Plc has re-affirmed its commitment to
best global environmental practices, as the globe marks the 2013 World
Environment Day with the theme "Think.Eat.Save".
This was disclosed by the Managing Director and Chief Executive of the company, Mr Dharnesh Gordhon,during a media facility tour of the Agbara factory of the company.
Dharnesh said, "At Nestle, we are committed to environmentally sustainable business practices as part of our Corporate Business Principles which forms the foundation of all we do. We believe that all parts of society share responsbility for the environment. However, we are determined to provide leadership within our own sphere of influence and for the resulting environmental benefits to become an extra reason for people to prefer our products".
With its environment sustainability policy, Nestle Nigeria is at the forefront of ensuring zero-waste production and consumption in Nigeria.
