Day 4;We Are Ready to #OccupyNigeria

Today, 12th of January, 2012 marks the 11th day in series of mass protests and the 4th day of National strike by Nigerians against the removal of fuel subsidy which was announced by the Federal Government on the 1st of January,2012.

While most Nigerians describe the policy as "anti-human" and "a wicked new year gift", it seems the government is not willing and ready to listen and accede to the people's demand.

Hence, the need to #OccupyNigeria until waste, excesses and corruption in governance are flushed-out becomes imperative in a country where over 70% of its population live below $2 per day.

In Lagos, demonstrators will converge at Ojota (Gani Fawehinmi Park) at 9 am, Falomo at 8am; Anthony at 7:30am; Mr Biggs, Abule Egba at 7:30 am and couple of other centers across the state and the nation at large.
